Good heart health

Did you know that American Heart Association recommends that adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week? In fact, studies show that when you regularly exercise at least 30 minutes 5 times a week you dramatically lower your risk for heart disease and high cholesterol? A good starting goal is at least 150 minutes a week, but if you don’t want to sweat the numbers, just move more! Find forms of exercise you like and will stick with, and build more opportunities to be active into your routine.

If you are looking to make some changes in your health and fitness life style this would be a great place to start! Even if you are busy with work or school or jus life in general you can try and hedge out a 50 minute work out just three times a week. It’s not as good as exercising every day but it will still make a huge impact on your over all heart health over the long run.
