It is 4/22, and you know what that means: Earth Day! Unfortunately, we as a people could not go outside to do a plethora of activities to celebrate (such as cleaning trash off parks). Instead, Earth Day can be experienced virtually (link is to an article that details a myriad of virtual ways to celebrate Earth Day). Even more so, Earth Day is ever the more important to celebrate considering that most Republicans, especially Trumpites, really hate the environment. From pulling out from the Paris Agreement, to lowering efficiency standards for automobiles (and even lightbulbs!), and enabling corporations to pollute as they please. Even though we’re facing many challenges, we must never let up the fight to protect our Earth, simply because it us our one and only home.
