I’m (still) with her

There is a lot going on in our country right now. There is a lot going on with the most corrupt, swamp filled presidency (no, I am not talking about Andrew Jackson) in the history of our country. There is a lot going on with resurgent talk and energy around impeachment (finally). I wanted to stop and reflect today and just give a shout to the most qualified presidential candidate, ever, who didn’t get elected to run our country: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

First of all, and absolutely no one is talking about this, she was absolutely right about everything she tried to warn us about when it came to The Donald. She tried to sound the alarm about his corrupt business practices. She tried to warn us about his womanizing ways and his sexist, and bigoted, tendencies. She tried to warn us that, if elected, he would simply be Putin’s Puppet. Need I say more? I think not. Let’s just all say it in unison now: SHE WAS 1000% RIGHT. She had it pegged, well, a lot of us did, and she tried to warn the country.

We missed a golden opportunity to step up as a country and move equality and progressives ideas forward like they had never been. Can you imagine it? I can. Eight years of Democratic leadership immediately after eight years of Obama? Instead, we have a broken and dysfunctional Department of Justice. We are separating migrant children from their parents at the border. We are allowing coal, oil, and gas industries to run rough shod over our planet. There are a lot of people in politics and the press in this country who owe Hillary Clinton an apology. I’m (still) with her.
