Washington National Cathedral says, “Welcome back to Sunday!”

The Cathedral, based in Washington DC, will be opening their doors for IN PERSON worship on Sunday, July 4th. After a long time apart because of COVID-19, they are excited and look forward to gathering for worship again on Sundays at 11:15 a.m.

If you choose to join, a few important notes: In order to protect the most vulnerable among us, masks will be required for all worshippers at the Cathedral. Doors will open at 10:15 a.m., and seating is first come, first served. (The Cathedral can fit a lot of people, so there will be plenty of space.) At this time, our nursery remains closed.

If you can’t join them in person, remember that all of their services will be livestreamed via cathedral.org and their YouTube page. For those of you don’t know, Washington National Cathedral is an open and affirming congregation for the LGBTQ+ community. Also worthy of note: The ashes of Matthew Shepard are interred there. Personally, I’m a big fan of what they do and what they stand for.
