Pride Watch: New York City

New York City hosts one of the world’s most iconic LGBTQ+ celebrations: NYC Pride, produced by Heritage of Pride. The 2026 celebration culminates on Sunday, June 28, with the NYC Pride March stepping off at 11:00 AM from 25th Street & 5th Avenue. The march travels down Fifth Avenue, passes the historic Stonewall National Monument, and concludes in the West Village. With millions of spectators and thousands of marchers, it remains the largest Pride march in the United States.

NYC Pride’s weekend also includes PrideFest, a massive LGBTQ+ street fair running from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM along University Place between Astor Place and 13th Street. PrideFest features food vendors, queer artisans, community organizations, and live performances across multiple stages. The city’s Pride Week programming includes the Rally, Youth Pride, Teaze, Bliss Days, and the Pride Island music festival, making NYC Pride a multi‑day, multi‑venue celebration of queer culture and activism.

With its deep historical roots, global visibility, and unmatched scale, NYC Pride remains a defining moment of June Pride season.
