You’ve probably had blackberry fruits, hints of blackberry flavor in wines, blackberry flavored sodas, and those absolutely delicious blackberry “seltzers” (Dark Magic and Dark Horse), but have you ever had a blackberry whiskey? MB Roland makes a Kentucky Blackberry Moonshine, but given its low abv (22.5%/45 proof), it’s technically a liqueur, though it still carries a signature whiskey profile, which is greatly softened by the blackberry juice within. It certainly adds a fruity character to everything, especially cola based sodas (Coke, Dr. Pepper and Pepsi). Too bad I didn’t get to try this with my Zero Sugar Blackberry Dr. Pepper.
