Skyy Vodka’s “Infusions” refers to their flavored vodka lineup, which includes flavors such as watermelon. The watermelon flavor is definitely tasty, and is great in anything fruity, such as cranberry, OJ, 7UP, and so on. However, there are times where the flavor feels overpowering. Despite incorporating the term infusions, Skyy’s flavored vodkas are definitely not true infusions. About 5% of the vodka has been replaced by a flavored syrup—leading to a thicker and sticky consistency. This is in contrast to Absolut’s flavored vodkas, which are true infusions; no added sugars. But hey, Skyy vodka is cheaper, and I’d trust more than some random glass bottle that says “Watermelon Vodka”. Maybe it’ll help to spruce up some bland mixers you have in the fridge, or go really good with club soda.
