The Glenlivet 12 is my first, and only single malt Scotch I’ve ever had. until now. This beautifully packaged Scotch caught my eye, more so too because it was on sale, making it a tad bit cheaper than a Glenlivet. It is quite similar to the Glenlivet nevertheless; both are single malt and aged for a minimum of 12 years. The thing is, the packaging for Aberfeldy’s is just so over the top.

Inside its golden color case is a black interior with gold accents. The neatly packed bottle o’ whisky is secured like a baby, and there’s even a To/From card, making this whisky ready to gift from the get-go. It is just as smooth as the Glenlivet, so it’s great with coke and fruity sodas like 7-up.
