So, I’ve had the “pleasure” of trying out Beatbox during my time at a Pride Festival in my own city. Beatbox markets itself as a “punch”, and a very strong one at that. It is essentially heavily flavored orange wine, orange wine being a high ABV (11.1%) white wine. It comes in up to 9 delicious flavors: Tropical, Peach, and Fruit Punch, Watermelon, Cranberry, Green Apple, Strawberry Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, and Blue Razberry.
Again, this is a drink that cleverly covers its strong alcohol content quite well, with a 16.9 bottle being almost as equivalent as 2 drinks. Also, I’m not joking when I said the drink is a strong punch to the head. In my personal experience, after drinking just 2, I was hit by the hardest hangover except it was while I was awake only at 6pm. Only after 4 hours of 8 pills worth of painkillers did I finally get over it. So if you’re at a party, you don’t want to eat too much or drink anything else if you’ve taken one beatbox, else you’re probably going to get a beatdown.
