🎙️ Dr. Mary Brinkmeyer, Ph.D.
A nationally recognized leader in LGBTQ+ military and veteran mental health, Dr. Brinkmeyer brings over 16 years of experience serving service members and Veterans. Twice named Civilian Psychologist of the Year for the U.S. Navy, she has led groundbreaking work in LGBTQ+ care, including serving on the Navy Medicine East Transgender Care Team and coordinating LGBTQ+ care at the Hampton VA. After stepping down from her role in protest of harmful policy changes, Dr. Brinkmeyer has become a public advocate for inclusive veteran healthcare, featured in The New York Times, The Advocate, NPR, and more.
