Is Marriage Equality in danger?

Marriage Equality became law of the land in the United States of America in 2015 in Obergefell v. Hodges by a slim margin of 5-4. A lot has happened, but most recently, 3 positions were promptly filled by Trump (the latest one being Barret, who was appointed 8 days before an election, which would’ve been frowned upon even by Republicans) by Corrupter in Chief, Donald Trump. This Supreme Court is no stranger to controversy, and has already shown its hand with the striking down of Roe v. Wade, gutting affirmative action and voters’ protections. One of its justices, Clarence Thompson already voiced that he thought there were several things the Supreme Court got wrong, specifically mentioning Marriage Equality.

I am shocked by how little media attention there is to this issue, instead, with stupid, moronic room temperature IQ pieces claiming that fears of marriage equality being under threat being a ploy by Democrats to keep us in fear. The Supreme Court has a 6-3 Room Temp IQ majority, so uh, yeah, marriage equality is in fucking danger. It really would be in one’s best interest to get a marriage now, simply because it most likely would be difficult for even this corrupt Supreme Court to nullify existing marriages, I think? Regardless, blue states are very likely to keep marriage equality, and the red states will likely have the legal authority to define marriage in a narrow minded view.
