Indianapolis Pride — officially Indy Pride Festival & Parade — is one of the Midwest’s most inclusive and community‑driven celebrations. Organized by Indy Pride, Inc., the 2026 event takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, with both the parade and festival held in the heart of downtown. The Indy Pride Parade begins at 10:00 AM, stepping off at Massachusetts Avenue and College Avenue, and winds through the Mass Ave Arts District before finishing near Military Park, where the festival immediately begins.
The Indy Pride Festival runs from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Military Park, featuring live music, drag performances, food trucks, local vendors, and nonprofit booths. The park’s shaded layout and proximity to the canal make it one of the most comfortable festival settings in the region. Indy Pride also hosts a full week of events leading up to the main day — including the Community Picnic, Pet Pride, TransGlam, and Pride Pageant — all designed to highlight different parts of the LGBTQ+ community.
With its strong local roots, diverse programming, and downtown setting, Indy Pride continues to be a cornerstone of Indiana’s LGBTQ+ visibility and celebration.
