Washington DC Pride (AKA Capital Pride) has been “postponed” (likely till 2021). They will also have a virtual pride exhibition for all registered entities. However, as far as I could find, there isn’t much more information available about any other virtual events, and there are no dates provided for anything. Read their full statement here, and stay tuned for any future updates!
“Like our fellow Pride organizers around the world, the Capital Pride Alliance has been monitoring the escalating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and has determined that the safest course of action will be to postpone all planned Capital Pride events in May and June,” said Ryan Bos, Executive Director of CPA. “Throughout, we have worked and will continue to work closely with our federal, state, and local partners as we make decisions to ensure the safety of the entire community,” emphasized Bos.” We will collaborate with all the agencies and our partner Prides to identify new dates and potentially new ways that our community can come together in Pride,” Bos explained.
