Apparently, the LGBTQ+ community, alongside immigrants and people of color, has turned on the once omniscient presence of the honey bears and its many variations in San Francisco. But why? After all, these honey bears seem rather Innocent and inclusive, right? Well, not anymore it seems, even though these bears were initially welcomed with open arms. I don’t know much about the artist himself (fnnch), but apparently, the idea of having one person doing all this art everywhere is “gentrification”. As such, communities are now painting over these murals as if they’re a blight.
