New Orlean’s Pride Events, the Pride Festival and the Parade occur on the same day, June 8. The first event is the PrideFesat at the Phoenix Bar, 11am-6pm. What a great way to ride out the hot summer weather! The Parade begins after PrideFest ends, with lineup beginning at 6pm, and the actual parade at 7-10pm. Yet another way to avoid the brunt of the heat whilst allowing night owls the chance to participate. The parade begins in the Marigny then runs down Decatur to Canal turning right on Rampart and up to St Ann. It will finish on Bourbon between St Ann and Dumaine.
