Pride Watch: San Antonio

San Antonio’s Pride celebration, known as Pride Bigger Than Texas, is produced by Pride San Antonio and stands as one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in South Texas. The 2026 celebration takes place on Saturday, July 26, centered around Crockett Park and the Main Avenue corridor.

The Pride Bigger Than Texas Parade steps off at 9:00 PM, creating one of the few nighttime Pride parades in the United States. The illuminated procession travels along North Main Avenue, featuring floats, community groups, performers, and local organizations. Earlier in the day, the Pride Festival at Crockett Park runs from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering food vendors, entertainment stages, community booths, and family‑friendly activities.

San Antonio’s Pride is known for its warm, community‑driven atmosphere, strong Latinx representation, and its signature nighttime parade that lights up the city’s summer skyline.
